The InBody body composition analysers provide a detailed report outlining an individual’s measurements in such things as but not limited to:

  • Total skeletal muscle mass

  • Total body fat in kilograms

  • Total body fat percentage

  • Visceral fat

  • Total body water

  • Segmental muscle and fat analysis

  • Bone mineral content

  • Basal metabolic rate

The InBody utilizes a Direct Segmental Multi-frequency Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (DSM-BIA), it separately measures the impedance (resistance to alternating electric currents) of the trunk, arms and legs of our body.

InBody does not use any assumptions in its assessment and provides results which are extremely precise and as unique to the person being scanned.

We request age and gender simply as a means of providing relevant guidelines on your result sheet (these are generally found in a bracket format, next to your actual results).

Simply put, you could change your age and gender on an InBody device and your results will not change as YOU have not changed.

This technology is protected by over 50 patents worldwide.

How does it work?

The Scan Results explained

When you get a Body Composition Scan at Total Muscle Management you will receive a 12 page booklet that explains the results and help you determine what life style changes you may need to put into place to achieve a better scan result and improve your health and body composition.

Check out the below video explanation that I did for a client.
